BioTech Annecto Montreal is pleased to announce a presentation given by Jacques Grysole, MBA, President of Expansion Stratégies Inc. entitled:
Marine Biotechnology: International Perspectives
Marine biotechnology and the valorization of marine biomass are expanding in various parts of the world. What is the Blue Economy? What are the sources of raw materials and the potential uses? Many North Atlantic countries such as Norway and Iceland have been active for many years in this field. The European Union has launched a strategic research and innovation roadmap with an agenda to 2030. The potential of marine biodiversity indicates to be a source of novel natural compounds to be used in food, cosmetic, agricultural, chemical and pharmaceutical products, medical devices and industrial enzymes. Quebec has the resources and expertise but they are largely unknown in terms of players and field of activities. What is the situation in Quebec? What are the perspectives?
Jacques is the founder of Expansion Stratégies Inc. He has more than 25 years of experience in consulting, specializing in marketing planning and project management in thirty countries.
