Claude Vezeau, Réseau de Mentorat BioSuccès
Dr. Claude Vezeau is an experienced leader and entrepreneur with a breath of experience in academia, life sciences, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries including the start-up and financing of several biotechnology companies. After working in several executive positions in the large pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Vezeau became a partner in BioCapital, a successful investment fund in biotechnology. He then joined BioChem Pharma to the BioChem Vaccines division. He was the founder of Innodia. He currently is the President-CEO of ProScan RxPharma, CEO of Katana Biopharma and a special collaborator to Aligo Innovation supporting the value creation of technologies issued from its partner institutions.
Frédéric Leduc, CEO and co-founder of Immune Biosolutions (mentoree)
Frédéric is the CEO and co-founder of Immune Biosolutions, a biotech company driving the discovery of next-generation biologics through its proprietary Nebula chicken antibody platform. Winner of the 2013 National Grand Prize of the Québec Entrepreneurship Contest, Immune Biosolutions received several innovation prizes including the Spin Master innovation award, Devtech Bio 2013 and 2016. Immune Biosolutions was selected in 2016 by JLabs@Toronto, the newest Johnson&Johnson’s innovation incubators. Frédéric was recently elected on the Board of BioQuébec and is an active member of the Canadian Life Science community.
Frédéric holds a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from UQAM, a M.Sc. in Ecotoxicology from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Université de Sherbrooke.
