First practical meeting on anaerobic digestion at NRC
With the development of anaerobic digestion in Québec, expertise as well as the financial structure has been growing and the first projects have emerged. In this promising context, BioTech Annecto, in partnership with Berlie Technologies, are happy to invite you to a workshop session on the technical realization of an anaerobic digestion project. The workshop will be organized around two sessions:
Session 1: Winning conditions for an anaerobic digestion project (8:30 am - 10:00 am)
1. Choosing the right anaerobic digestion technology
2. Digestor's sludge valorization
3. Preparing a winning quote
Session 2: Technological choices (10:30 am - 12:00 pm)
1. Digestor's sludge and Source Separated Organics: to mix or not to mix?
2. Advantages and desadvantages of a two-stage system
3. Mesophilic, psychrophilic and thermophilic conditions: a matter of performances or culture?
We have the privilege to welcome 6 speakers, who are experts in the field of anaerobic digestion: Dr. Serge Guiot (NRC), Dr. Yan Le Bihan (CRIQ), Marc-André Bourque ing., M.ing., MBA (MAB Consultants Inc.), Jean-Claude Frigon (CNRC), Marc Hébert (MDDEP), Michel Laforest ing., MBA (Développement durable KLM Inc.).
The workshop will conclude with a visit of the anaerobic digestion facilities of the BioEngineering group (NRC, Montreal).
Complimentary breakfast and coffee break. Cafeteria available at lunchtime.
