Our SR&ED experts will share their perspective on the current SR&ED Program for Pharma & Life Science (P&LS) companies.

- The importance of the scientific project description in ensuring an effective SR&ED filing.
- New application policies and tax credit rate reductions,
- Types of entities, associated corporations and implications of other government assistance
- Importance and focus on technical project description
- Increasingly demanding scientific and financial audits in recent years (with example)
Lucie Bélanger – Montreal SR&ED Leader, François Barbin – Senior Manager SR&ED and Patrick Daoust – Scientific Advisor Pharma & Life Science will discuss the latest developments related to the Canadian Scientific Research and Experimental Development Tax Incentive Program. They have extensive experience with the federal and provincial Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) incentive programs. In particular, they have helped many companies of all sizes in the biotech, life sciences and pharmaceuticals sector address complex SR&ED financial and technical rules.
Note: the presentation will be given in English, but questions can be asked and answered in French as in English
The SR&ED tax credit program underwent important changes over the last two years. Our goal is to give P&LS attendees a broad understanding of how this affects their sector and give suggestions on how to adapt their SR&ED strategy.
The event is free. Pre-registration is encouraged (for ideal guest accomodation) but not required.
Mme Anie Perrault will present BioQuébec’s Notre santé à tous campaign prior to the presentation.
